Topic: [314503] Event Extension: Kala's Contest

[4507898] FamousJohn8 (GB1) [None] :: Aug. 1, 2016, 12:12 p.m.
Afternoon folks,

Apologies for the delays with all of this. At the moment, we're just finalizing everything so that we have a concrete plan that we can share with you all. It shouldn't take too long, and I'll get it up as soon as we can.

I've also seen a lot of great feedback in this thread towards the situation itself, and how these things are handled (event extensions in particular), and I can assure you that this will be taken into consideration for the future.

Thank you all for your patience whilst we get this sorted Rest assured, we're doing all we can to make sure that this is solved in the best manner for you guys.

Regards,

Steve.
This better be good

reminding you have fobbed us out of loads of prizes in kala contest

so please don't give us a few hundred horrors and 50 tools or tickets or \vip time

be smart , all these compo packages cost you nothing and can make the day of someone else.;

I am sorry to bang on Steve as I know really, it's not your fault personally but you've said this too many times before. Your customers do not want token gestures. Your customers want a game that is stable and a development team that can get things right most of the time; which you simply don't.

We need to see a change where you do not view weekends as some silent window during the week where nothing happens. If you're unwilling to do this then code changes must occur on a Monday or Tuesday, giving you the remainder of the week to properly sort out any problems. It is quite sad that your customers even have to suggest to you how you should run things in order to get it right - these are problems you should be identifying and solving yourselves.

Finally - Not one apology for the current situation. You've apologised for the delay in dealing with this but nothing else. GGS needs to own its mistakes else they lose all respect from their customers.

Fobbed me out of

gems , equipment , troops , tools , why show i can get them if you aren't gonna actually let me receive them.

Will be funny too see this compo package , as its probably less than what you earn on one or two at most pages on kala event,

are we receiving it today?

and are you actually gonna fix this kala event!!??

@CM Arcanine

The fair thing to do is to treat everyone the same - we've missed 3 days of Kala relative to a 24 day period or about 12.5% of the time that had already passed. Thus give everyone 12.5% points extra relative to where they were. If you had 1200 points you get an extra 150 points and all the awards that go with that.

The people who might be pissed are

1) People in the middle of or close to a booster period (genuine complaint but unless GGE have record of who had what when hard to address). Maybe people within 50 points of teh booster period could get 15 or 20% extra points instead of 12.5%?
2) People who would somehow claim that they would have been much more active than the had been previously during this weekend when the Kala anyway should have ended originally (lame argument really)

On top of that you could throw in some VIP time or something like that that doesn't really shift the competitive balance.

Ask yourself this question how many people believe if there was a bug arrived at 5pm on a friday afternoon that was giving out free unlimited amounts of rubies, how many people believe that it would have been left to run all weekend, and how many people think that all of a sudden GGE would have suddenly managed to find the manpower to sort it in about an 30 mins!!!  Its a matter of choice,  yes it was difficult, yes it was inconvienient, yes it may have been costly having to pay extra to your employees.  But i dont believe for s socond it wasnt possible, you just Chose not to.  As it wasnt important enough to you.

[4507953] FamousJohn8 (GB1) [None] :: Aug. 1, 2016, 12:47 p.m.
hehe

@Philt123 (GB1)

Of Course it would be fixed my friend ,

but this one wasn't as it only effected us , the customers , who also pay for a free online game!!

Yet they still do this time in time out , kala contest still broken and this day has been started for their workers along while and they haven't fixed it yet and they're still trying too see how they could fob us off even more with some sort of compensation package in which you earn in 1 or 2 tops pages in the kala event itself lol.

Afternoon folks,

I've also seen a lot of great feedback in this thread towards the situation itself, and how these things are handled (event extensions in particular), and I can assure you that this will be taken into consideration for the future.

Taken into consideration for the future......like we are going to believe that !!!

Just have a count up of how many long events you have run....now count how many have been ballsed up in one way or another.....now send those numbers to your huge team of data analysts and see if they can spot a trend.

You've been given the solution to all these problems over at least the last year, and yet NOTHING has been done to improve things.

You seem to be mistaking patience for resignation....we all know how GGS works, we have the evidence to prove it and nothing you say will change that. We know we will all be fleeced because you are relying on our addiction to the game to continue. However, you will see a drop in income as more and more players realise that there is no point paying for a game that is so badly broken, with little chance of it ever being fixed.

Best manner for US....absolutely no hope of that ever happening unless you give us exactly what we have lost. Previous experience says that won't happen as it can't be done in 15mins, so we'll get what is best for YOU. Not a way to run a business, but of course you already know that from your ex.staff...

Have a fun Monday, after your relaxing weekend ;)

I have kept BR report screenshots (60 at present time) of every attack (Samurai, Berri Camps, Foreigners and Samurai purchases) as a record of how many points I should have...They are chronological....I am prepared to submit each one as an individual support ticket in order to make the point I should have the full set of Armour and gems (except the hero)...

Waiting to see what the outcome is and what support tells me about my existing ticket claim.

It's not really surprising why Goodgame Studios receive such poor ratings (12%) on game review sites, when things like this happen.

Indeed Chris,

They won't treat us fairly us customers, and a boycott has to be global to have any effect, so hit them where it hurts....new customers.

Conduct your business online and you open yourselves open to reviews online, and the pen is mightier than the sword.

Seems they are having the same problems with other games, not just this one....the end is nigh.

stop doing any upgrades, fixes, updates, patches, etc as you are going out the door on friday afternoons.   it might save you 3 days of pent up anger to face when you walk in the doors every monday morning.

[4508098] FamousJohn8 (GB1) [None] :: Aug. 1, 2016, 2:13 p.m.
this is a joke , no update and your all away home ?

[4508099] CM Arcanine [None] :: Aug. 1, 2016, 2:13 p.m.
Just popping in again to say I'm still here, folks. Apologies for the lack of communication this afternoon, but I've been running all over the place to get these details finalized.

I should have something to you very shortly.

Cheers,

Steve.

still not getting kala points.   is this going to be fixed today?

[4508119] UD1 (INT1) [INT1] :: Aug. 1, 2016, 2:18 p.m.
Steve i know you cant answer this , i see we have so many smart/clever players here, but surely you must wonder why GGE can create such chaos .

I honestly cant believe that a company like yours , can be so incompetent in this way, This is not the 1st  2nd or 3rd time , but it is happening constantly , GGE must be noticing a drop in income , because i never seen so many 100% premium offers.

We follow your rules , we expect the same competences from GGE ,
